THE PALAZZO

The Palazzo delle Biscie is an ancient fortress dated back in 1400, witness over the centuries of the many historical events that crossed the territory and marked its walls. After a long period of neglect and degradation, it was brought back to life at the end of last century thanks to an important restoration work that has recovered and preserved the original structure. Today you can visit it as event site , art gallery and painting atelier.

ARTE AL PALAZZO

Atelier Sergio Frascari

The first floor of the Palace houses the painting studio of Sergio Frascari, the artist who saved the Palace from degradation and wanted to make it a place of beauty and creativity.

Today The halls accommodate his works of art, the have a special soul that reveals itself in the dark, with a particular effect of light and backlight.

The palace also houses works by other artists: a gallery and an art studio are things that few historical sites can claim…

THE EXTERIORS

Outside the large park full of colours, scents and picturesque corners dominate the landscape.
The old fruits trees bring back memories of distant flavours, the pond enchants with its water lilies, the croaking of the frogs and the sweet cradle of the branches of the willow. The shadows of the sculptures placed around the Palazzo draw shapes on the walls and on the water.
In the background the old building with the oven and the porch stand not far away from the pool and the pergola.
Between hedges and bamboo trees you can glimpse the lodges, surrounded by greenery.
Even outside art history and nature are intertwined.
